Peter Schuyff is a Dutch-born artist who, after living in Canada and the United States, is now based in Amsterdam. Schuyff is best known as a painter, but he also works with carved sculptures and has also developed a career as a musician.
Schuyff has held solo exhibitions at institutions such as the Ulrich Museum in Wichita, and the University of Lethbridge Gallery, Alberta, Canada. Schuyff has taken part in group shows such as the Whitney Biennial in New York (2014), and others at Deste Foundation, Athens, Greece (2003), the Centre National d’art Contemporain in Grenoble, the New Museum and the Drawing Center, both in New York.
